Obama Working on Backup Health Care Plan

President Barack Obama has promised another take at health care reform if the Supreme Court deems his current law unconstitutional.

According to Bloomberg.com, the president made the vow at a secretive, $35,000 per plate campaign fundraiser in Manhattan, N.Y., recently.

Obama told supporters, if re-elected he won't give up on a health care plan for Americans, Bloomberg.com reported.

Publicly, President Obama has said he expects the court to uphold his health care law. But privately, it appears the president is working on a backup plan.

The Supreme Court is expected to rule this month on the controversial law that requires all Americans to have some form of health care.
